tylerknott: GPOYW.  Me and my nephew Griffin by a little campfire.  I’m reading him one of his favorite stories ever, “The Donut Chef.”  He loves it and can finish some of the sentences, which is rad.  oh my gosh this is the cutest thing i’ve ever seen in my whole life

tylerknott: What do my dogs teach me?  The most important lessons.  The ability to play, really and truly play at any time, in any place.  To find joy hiding in places where others might not even bother to look.  To find someone that helps you make sense, if even to yourself, if even for a moment.  To appreciate a hug like it’s all you need to just calm you down long enough to breathe, to go outside and stretch your legs.  To run, like your life depends on it sometimes, and sleep like the same.  Most importantly, to love.  Love first, love as default, love everyone and love until you’ve been given a reason to stop loving…and then, forgive, forget, and love them again.  Thanks guys, for reminding me. Happy Mother’s Day Mom.  What a long, strange and wonderful road we’ve traveled down.  I don’t know when the transition from Mother/Son to Best Friends took place, but I could not love that it did any more than I do.  Thank you, for being an inspiration, a shoulder, a support beam and a strong kick in the ass.  I Love You Mom.
